Dr. Cassiel Ato Baah Forson is a prominent Ghanaian politician, fiscal economist, chartered accountant, tax practitioner, and entrepreneur.

Since 2009, he has served as the Member of Parliament for the Ajumako-Enyan-Esiam Constituency under the National Democratic Congress (NDC), advocating for good governance and accountability.

Born on August 5, 1978, in Ajumako Bisease, he holds advanced degrees from KNUST and the University of Oxford. His career includes roles as Managing Director of Forson Contracts Limited, CEO of Omega Africa Holding Limited, and Deputy Minister for Finance in 2013.

Dr. Forson has faced allegations of causing financial loss to Ghana over the procurement of 200 ambulances between 2014 and 2016.

An Accra High Court has ordered him to present his defense in the €2.37 million case. Additionally, in July 2023, Dr. Forson accused Afia Serwaa Asare Botwe, the Court of Appeal Judge overseeing the case, of unfair treatment.
