Dennis Edward Aboagye, also known as Dennis Miracles Aboagye, is a prominent Ghanaian politician currently serving as a presidential staffer responsible for Local Government and Decentralization. Born on February 27, 1985, in Larteh Akuapem, Eastern Region, he is the only child of his parents.
Dennis began his education at Larteh Presby Primary School, continued at Swedru International School (SWIS), and completed his secondary education at Okuapeman School.
He earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Ghana and furthered his studies with a Chartered Postgraduate Diploma in Marketing from The Chartered Institute of Marketing UK, a Chartered Marketer designation with CIMG, and an MBA in Marketing from Central University.
Dennis's career spans over a decade in sales and marketing, including roles in the pension industry where he advanced from client relations executive to unit head.
He also served as the Eastern Regional Director of the Youth Enterprises and Skills Development Centre (YESDEC), overseeing a World Bank-funded job creation project.
In politics, Dennis has held influential positions including Municipal Chief Executive for Akuapem North and key roles within the New Patriotic Party (NPP).
His political involvement includes serving as Constituency Youth Organizer, campaign manager, special aide to MP William Ofori Boafo, and spokesperson for Vice President Mahamudu Bawumia during the 2023 NPP presidential primaries.
Currently, Dennis oversees Local Government and Decentralization as a presidential staffer and serves as the Executive Secretary for the Inter-Ministerial Coordinating Committee on Decentralization, focusing on policy formulation to advance decentralization in Ghana.
A dedicated Christian, he is married with four children and is deeply committed to both his professional and community roles.
