Ayerye Festival is an annual cultural celebration held by the chiefs and people of Akyemfo Nankesedo in the Nkusukum Traditional Area of Saltpond, located in the Central Region of Ghana.

The festival is usually observed in the month of November. It is also celebrated by the communities of Ekumfi Narkwa and Enyam-Maim.

During the festival, visitors are warmly received and invited to enjoy food and drinks. Participants wear traditional clothing, and a public gathering of chiefs, known as a durbar, is organized. The celebration features lively drumming and dancing, adding to the festive atmosphere.

The Ayerye Festival is held to commemorate a significant historical event. It honors the ancestors who journeyed from the ancient Ghana Empire through Techiman before finally settling in their current location after enduring many hardships.
