Tamale Youth Choir is a non-denominational choral group in Northern Ghana and the first of its kind.

The Tamale Youth Choir emerged victorious over six competitors in the Otumfuo Osei Tutu II Composers Competition.The inaugural Otumfuo Osei Tutu II Composers Competition in Kumasi, Ghana, celebrated musical talent and marked the 25th anniversary of the monarch's enstoolment. Under Princess Consort Otumfuo-Yere Julia Osei Tutu's patronage, the event showcased Ghana's cultural heritage. The Tamale Youth Choir emerged victorious, led by composer Samuel Dowaana Mensah.

They won ₵30,000 and garnered support from UNIJAY Fashions CEO Janet Abobigu. Grateful for the backing, they thanked all contributors, promising to uphold their encouragement. Lady Julia commended the event's unity and praised the composers for honoring King Otumfuo's reign. Royal Image Group CEO, Mr. Amankwaa Agyeman, advocated for the competition's continuity to preserve Ghana's musical heritage.

The choir's success underscores Ghanaian music's vibrancy and King Otumfuo Osei Tutu II's legacy in nurturing cultural appreciation.
