OJ Blaq

Andy Nii Akrashie, better known as OJ Blaq, passed away in August 2023 at the age of 40. He had been candid about his struggle with kidney disease since 2016, undergoing dialysis treatments and other measures to combat the condition. Despite occasional periods of seeming health and activity, OJ's battle with kidney disease remained ongoing, and tragically, he passed away while awaiting a transplant, as reported.

Nii Odoi Mensah

Nii Odoi Mensah, the Ghanaian actor and former President of the Ghana Actors Guild, passed away in 2016 due to kidney failure. Before his demise, he had publicly disclosed his battle with chronic kidney failure in 2015.
