Bright Owusu, better known by his stage name C Confion, was a rising star in Ghana's comedy scene. Born and raised in Buokrom Estate, Kumasi, he completed his basic education at Kings and Queens International School in Buokrom.

C Confion’s comedic talent gained widespread recognition after he joined Dr. Likee's well-known comedy crew, which was celebrated for producing funny skits that captivated a broad audience across Ghana.

Through his involvement with the team, he contributed to the creation of numerous YouTube sketches that became a hit among viewers, solidifying his place in the comedy landscape.

Beyond his on-screen success, C Confion was also candid about his personal struggles, particularly his past marijuana use. In an interview with popular Ghanaian personality ZionFelix, he opened up about the five-year battle he faced with the effects of marijuana.

He shared how the habit began, revealing that his friends had introduced him to smoking, a common story for many. Although it was challenging, marijuana eventually became a part of his daily routine, a struggle he confronted with remarkable honesty.

However, his promising career and personal journey were cut short. In mid-December 2024, it was reported that C Confion had been hospitalized at the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital in Kumasi due to a serious illness.

His team made a public appeal, asking fans to pray for his recovery, underscoring the severity of his condition. Despite these efforts, C Confion tragically passed away on December 20, 2024, leaving a profound gap in the Ghanaian comedy scene.

His untimely death has been deeply mourned by his fans, peers, and colleagues, who have taken to social media and other platforms to honor his memory and the laughter he brought to many.
