Anhwere's early life was rooted in the rich cultural heritage of the Ashanti region. He pursued his education with unwavering dedication, eventually earning a Bachelor's in Business Administration (BBA) from the University of Education Winneba in 2010.

His thirst for knowledge led him to the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, where he obtained a Certificate in Executive Master of Business Administration (CEMBA) with a focus on Public Administration in 2015.

In 2016, Emmanuel Adjei Anhwere decided to embark on a political journey by standing as a candidate for the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the seventh parliament of the Fourth Republic.

His passion and commitment to his constituents were evident as he secured a resounding victory with 48,264 votes out of 58,313 valid votes cast, representing an impressive 83.15%. His main opponent, Nana Asare Bediako, from the National Democratic Party (NDC), received 9,780 votes, making up 16.85% of the total.
