George Kwaning’s journey into journalism began with a deep-rooted passion for storytelling and public engagement.
Born in Tema in the 1990s and spending part of his childhood in Togo, George developed a broad perspective that would later inform his media work.
He attended Pope John Senior High School before pursuing a diploma in Communication Studies at the Ghana Institute of Journalism.
He later earned a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism from the University of Media, Arts and Communication, steadily building a strong academic foundation for his media career.
George’s professional career with TV3 Ghana spans over 13 years, beginning as a news reporting intern and steadily rising to become a respected news presenter and producer.
Throughout his career, he has covered key national and international events, including Ghana’s participation in the Dubai Expo and the investment efforts of institutions like MIDA and GIPC.
Known for his professionalism, calm delivery, and thorough reporting, George has earned his place as a trusted voice in Ghanaian media.
