Claudia Lumor, born on June 17, 1980, is a German-born Ghanaian publisher and the visionary founder of Glitz Africa Magazine and the Glitz Style Awards. She also serves as the Executive Producer of Glitz Africa Fashion Week Ghana.
Claudia's brainchild, Glitz Africa, has emerged as a pivotal platform for fashion creatives in Ghana and West Africa, showcasing the talents of designers, stylists, and hair and makeup artists.
Raised in Kumasi, Claudia attended Kumasi Anglican Secondary School before enrolling at Kwame Nkrumah University, where she earned a B.A. in Economics and Law.
She furthered her education in Corporate Finance Law at Westminster Law School in London and holds an Executive Diploma in Publishing from Yale University.
Claudia began her professional journey at Santander Bank in the UK before relocating to Ghana in 2010 to join Stanbic Bank.
She has been recognized as a speaker for WomanRising, a network for women entrepreneurs, and was featured alongside notable figures such as Kafui Danku, Deloris Frimpong Manso, Ekow Mensah, Vera Osei-Bonsu, and Cynthia Quarcoo.
Claudia was also listed among the 50 young Chief Executive Officers in Ghana by Avance Media and The YCEO and serves as a Goodwill Ambassador for the UNFPA.
In 2024, Claudia vied for the New Patriotic Party (NPP) parliamentary candidacy for the Oforikrom constituency, standing out as the sole female contender among five aspirants.
Despite not securing the nomination, she remains committed to making a difference and continues to impact lives and break new ground.
