Kofi Koranteng, born on September 9, 1966, is a prominent Ghanaian activist and politician. As the former CEO of the Progressive Alliance Movement, he championed the Representation of the Peoples’ Amendment Act (ROPAA) to secure voting rights for Ghanaians abroad.
Koranteng’s educational journey began at Aggrey Memorial Primary in Accra, Garrison Primary in Kumasi, and Adisadel College in Cape Coast for high school. He later earned a degree in Economics and Business from New York University.
His career has been extensive, with leadership roles in finance and consulting. He served as Vice President at Primerica, founded the consultancy Dividends Inc., and worked in business development for JP Morgan Chase.
Additionally, Koranteng has been active in Ghanaian-American community organizations, including roles as President of the Ahenfie Association and the Africa Business Advisory Group.
