Mohammed Frimpong is a Ghanaian political analyst and emerging political leader, born in Kumasi but raised in Yamfo, Ahofo Region, Ghana.

His early years shaped his sense of community and service, and his educational journey began in the 1960s in Namasa, his mother’s hometown, where he completed his primary education.

Frimpong continued his studies in the 1970s at Kumasi Ahmadiyya and Accra Academy, focusing on the sciences. In 1979, he enrolled at the University of Ghana, Legon, where his passion for politics began to take shape.

It was during his time at the University of Ghana that Frimpong’s political awakening occurred. His exposure to political ideas and activism during these formative years laid the groundwork for his future involvement in Ghanaian politics. Professionally, Frimpong has built a successful career as a businessman. In the 2000s, he served as the Chief Executive Officer of Stinhold Limited, a position that allowed him to hone his leadership and organizational skills, further preparing him for his future political ambitions.

Frimpong’s political journey took a significant turn in 2012 when he joined the National Democratic Party (NDP), a political organization founded by Nana Konadu Agyeman Rawlings, the former First Lady of Ghana and wife of ex-President Jerry John Rawlings.
