Oheneyere Gifty Anti, born on January 23, 1970, is an accomplished Ghanaian journalist, broadcaster, and advocate for women’s rights.

Originally from Cape Coast in the Central Region, she was born and raised in Tema in the Greater Accra Region. The youngest of eight siblings, she faced economic hardships growing up, which led her to engage in hawking and carpentry to support herself.

Her journey into the media began with internships at the Ghana News Agency and Ghanaian Times. She later joined the Ghana Broadcasting Corporation (GBC) as an intern, where she also completed her national service. Her first official role was as a Floor Manager at GTV, from which she transitioned into becoming a TV presenter, coach, gender advocate, and feminist.

Today, Gifty Anti serves as the Chief Executive Officer of GDA Concept and hosts The Standpoint, a talk show addressing women's issues. The program airs in Ghana and on ABN TV in the UK, reaching a global audience. During her time at Ghanaian Times, she was mentored by Liz Hayfron, who played a significant role in shaping her career.

In 2019, she launched her first book, A Bit of Me, which became a number-one bestseller on Amazon within a week of publication. Since then, she has authored several other impactful books, including Fifty Nuggets, The Best of You, Broken but Beautiful, and Room 5005.

Her contributions to society extend beyond her media career. She is the founder and president of the Girl in Need Foundation and the Awo Dansoa Reading Project, initiatives aimed at empowering women and promoting education. Additionally, she serves as an ambassador for the campaign against newborn deaths.

Her outstanding contributions and achievements have earned her several prestigious honors, including the Tell It Moms Exemplary Resilience Feminist Honor in 2019, recognition as a National Malaria Advocate, the Most Inspiring Woman in Media award, the Most Influential Woman accolade, the United Nations MDGs 4 & 5 Ambassador Award in 2012, and the Excellence Award from the African Women in Leadership Organization.

Gifty Anti is also a proud wife and mother. She is married to Nana Ansah Kwao IV, the Chief of Akwamu Adumasa. Their wedding ceremony took place on October 25, 2015, at the Trinity Baptist Church. On August 11, 2017, the couple welcomed their daughter, Nyame Anuonyam, whom Gifty often describes as her “miracle child.”

In recognition of her outstanding contributions, she was awarded a Fellowship of the Boardroom Institute (FBI) by the Accra Business School, earning her the prestigious title Oheneyere FBI Dr. Gifty Anti.
