Sassy Sika Osei is a well-known Ghanaian actress, producer, model, and TV personality, recognized for her remarkable influence in the entertainment industry.
With a career spanning acting, film production, and hosting, Osei has firmly established herself as one of Ghana's most dynamic stars. She is particularly admired for her work as a brand influencer, having partnered with prestigious brands such as L’Oreal Paris and Woodin.
Currently, Sika is co-hosting a variety of popular television shows and red carpet events. Her impressive list of hosting roles includes Ladies Circle on TV3, Studio 53 Extra on DStv, Fashion Insider on NdaniTV, and the VGMA Red Carpet Experience in 2019.
Additionally, she has appeared on Channel O News Live in Accra and covered the glamorous Glitz Africa Fashion Week for Star Gist on DStv. Sika is also actively promoting her latest film, which stars renowned actor Adjetey Anang.
Born in Ghana, Sika's early years were shaped by her mother’s career as a United Nations diplomat, which led the family to live in several countries, including South Africa, the USA, and India.
After returning to Ghana, Sika attended SOS School and later earned a Bachelor's degree in Arts from the University of Ghana. She then pursued a law degree at the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA), showing her diverse academic interests.
Sika’s career took off with her role as an actress, but it was her versatility in the entertainment industry that truly set her apart. She made history in 2011 as the first female presenter of Phamous TV, a popular lifestyle and entertainment show.
Her on-screen presence quickly won her a devoted following, and in 2017, she became the face of Habiba Shea Butter, partnering with Ghandour Cosmetics Limited as a brand ambassador. This role further solidified her reputation in the beauty and cosmetics sector.
In 2016, she co-hosted the prestigious African Fashion and Design Week in Nigeria, and by 2019, she was co-hosting the VGMA Red Carpet Experience alongside popular media personality Giovani Caleb.

On October 22, 2021, Sika Osei married Sele Douglas in a beautiful ceremony in Accra, Ghana. In 2024, the couple joyously welcomed their first child, marking a new chapter in their personal lives.
Sika’s talent and hard work have not gone unnoticed, with several accolades to her name. In 2018, she was part of the film In Line, which won the Best Comedy Award at the Golden Movie Awards.
The following year, Bad Luck Joe earned a nomination for Best Comedy at the 2019 Golden Movie Awards. Sika was also nominated for Best Actress in a Leading Role at the 2018 Africa Movie Academy Awards for her performance in Sidechic Gang.
