Victoria Lakshmi Hamah, a senior National Democratic Congress (NDC) politician, served as Ghana’s Deputy Communications Minister under President John Mahama (2013).
She leads the Progressive Organisation for Women’s Advancement (POWA), pursues a PhD in Public Policy at the University of Ghana, and holds qualifications in Political Science, Philosophy, and Social Policy.
She is also a former student activist and media professional, she actively advocates for gender rights and human rights.
