Komla Afeke Dumor (October 3, 1972 – January 18, 2014) was a journalist from Ghana. He worked for BBC World News and was the main host of the program "Focus on Africa." Dumor was born in Accra, Ghana. His father, Ernest Dumor, was a sociology professor, and his mother, Cecelia Dumor, held a master's degree in Mass Communication. His grandfather, Philip Gbeho, composed the music for the Ghanaian national anthem. His uncle, James Victor Gbeho, is a prominent Ghanaian diplomat.
