Association of Ghana Industries: Expanding Ghana’s industrial footprint globally

Stories and facts

The Association of Ghana Industries (AGI) serves as the umbrella organization overseeing and supporting the operations of industries across Ghana.

The AGI plays a crucial advocacy role, engaging with the Government of Ghana to address policies and issues that impact the country’s industrial sector.

In July 2019, the Association collaborated with the Qingdao Cross-Border E-commerce Association to host a corporate and industrial partnership-building convention in Qingdao, China.

The event aimed to strengthen trade relations, promote investment opportunities, and foster collaboration between Ghanaian and Chinese industries.

The summit brought together more than 20 Ghanaian representatives and over 100 delegates from China. Participants engaged in a series of factory visits to firms in Qingdao, offering valuable insights into modern industrial practices and technologies.

The program also included a business trip to Zaozhuang, where the delegation explored potential industrial and commercial opportunities within the Shandong Province.

Through such initiatives, the AGI continues to promote Ghana’s industrial growth and enhance international cooperation for economic development.
