CDD-Ghana serves as a core partner for Afrobarometer in Francophone, North, and West Africa, and as the national partner in Ghana.
Established in 1998, CDD-Ghana is an independent, non-governmental, and non-profit research and advocacy organization committed to advancing democracy, good governance, and economic openness across Ghana and Africa.
Its research is utilized by various stakeholders, including government agencies, non-governmental organizations, African regional bodies, development partners, and the public.
CDD-Ghana acts as the directorate for the Afrobarometer network and hosts the Afrobarometer Project Management Unit, which handles administrative tasks.
As a core partner, CDD-Ghana oversees Afrobarometer activities in several countries, including Nigeria, Cape Verde, Liberia, Sierra Leone, and Cameroon. Additionally, it conducts the Afrobarometer survey in Ghana as the national partner.
