Juventus Academy Ghana, which opened in October 2023 in collaboration with the renowned Italian football club Juventus F.C., marks a significant advancement in youth football development in Ghana.

The academy’s core mission is to introduce Juventus’s world-class training methods, values, and philosophy to young Ghanaian talents, emphasizing a holistic approach that goes beyond the pitch.

The goal is not only to nurture skilled footballers but also to shape disciplined, confident, and well-rounded individuals. Guided by the philosophy of "growing people before players," the academy places strong emphasis on character development alongside athletic training.

As part of a global network operating in over 50 countries, Juventus Academy Ghana follows the same principles that have shaped generations of players in Italy and around the world.

Training programs are designed to cater to all levels of ability, ensuring that every child has the opportunity to grow in a supportive and inclusive environment.

The focus is on providing structured technical education while also prioritizing the mental and physical well-being of each participant. Every session aims to balance competitiveness with enjoyment, creating a positive atmosphere that fosters learning and personal development.

At the helm of the academy’s technical leadership is Kwadwo Asamoah, a former Juventus and Ghana national team star. His extensive playing experience and deep understanding of Juventus’s training methods bring a unique blend of local and international insight to the academy.

With his guidance, young athletes receive elite instruction that reflects the standards of one of Europe’s most successful clubs. In addition, Juventus-based coaches from Italy offer continuous technical support and conduct periodic visits to ensure consistency and quality across all programs.

The academy is based at the modern SMAC Sports Centre, located near the Accra Mall. The facility features a full-size artificial turf pitch, indoor courts for futsal, basketball, and volleyball, as well as skating rinks and four well-equipped classrooms for educational support.

Training schedules are tailored to specific age groups. Children between the ages of six and eleven train twice a week and participate in weekend matches, while those aged twelve to nineteen have three weekly sessions along with competitive weekend games.

Fees range from $1,500 to $3,000, with reduced rates for girls and scholarship opportunities for talented youth. The academy also hosts events like media days and graduation ceremonies to celebrate progress and community engagement
