Kintampo Senior High School, commonly known as Great KiNSS, is a prominent co-educational pre-tertiary institution situated in Kintampo within the Kintampo North Municipal District of the Bono East Region in Ghana.

On March 9, 2021, the school achieved a notable milestone by emerging as the overall winners of the pre-independence "What Do You Know" contest held in Accra.

Established on October 15, 1975, by the Government of Ghana in partnership with local community members, Kintampo Senior High School began with a modest student body of 32, comprising 29 males and 3 females.

Initial academic activities were conducted at the residence of Mr. J.B. Mensah, who generously offered his home for the fledgling institution. The school proudly marked its 50th anniversary in 2024.

In terms of accolades, the school clinched victory in the 64th edition of the Independence Day Quiz in 2021.

Competing against Bolgatanga Senior High School, Mawuli Senior High School, and I.T. Ahmadiyya Senior High School, Kintampo Senior High School emerged triumphant in the competition hosted by the Ghana Broadcasting Corporation (GBC).

Operating under the Ghana Education Service of the Government of Ghana, the school is centrally located along the Kintampo-Tamale Highway.

With a student population of 2,798 and a staff of 186, including 134 teaching and 54 non-teaching members, Kintampo Senior High School offers comprehensive educational facilities. The school accommodates about 1,417 boarding students and 1,381 day students.

Kintampo Senior High School provides a diverse range of academic programs, including General Arts, General Science, Business, Home Science, Agricultural Science, and Visual Art.
