Remembers Group has announced the launch of Ghana Memorial, a digital obituary platform created to provide families with a permanent and dignified space to honour loved ones.

The service, available on GhanaMemorialProducts.com and GhanaRemembers.com, offers families a complete digital tribute package that blends Ghanaian tradition with modern technology.

Each memorial includes an online condolence book, a funeral programme, and a donation link, with options to add photos, life milestones, livestream details, and even GPS grave coordinates.

According to the developers, the platform addresses the limitations of funeral posters and social media posts, which often fade or get buried.

Unlike these, Ghana Memorial is permanent, mobile-friendly, and accessible worldwide, enabling participation from relatives both at home and abroad.

Emmanuel Ahiale, one of the first users of the platform, said: “With Ghana Memorial, I carry my father’s memory in my pocket—his voice, photos, and our stories are right there.”

Other families echoed similar sentiments. “This platform made it possible for my entire family in Canada and Kumasi to share in our mother’s memory,” said Afia Osei. Yaw Mante added, “I used to only design funeral posters. Now I design legacies.”

The platform includes features tailored to Ghanaian customs, such as pre- and post-funeral details, livestream options, QR codes for posters and tombstones, and privacy settings that let families choose between public and invite-only pages. Each memorial remains editable, allowing updates over time.

Ghana Memorial is offered in free and paid plans, including a one-time “Forever” option. Paid plans are ad-free and provide users with a personal web link. Families can create a starter page in under 30 minutes by uploading a photo and basic details.

Remembers Group says the launch aims to preserve Ghanaian traditions in a digital age. The service is being promoted under the tagline: “Because memories deserve more than paper.”
