Francis Asenso-Boakye is a Ghanaian politician and businessman. He represents the Bantama Constituency in Parliament on the ticket of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) and has served as Deputy Chief of Staff, Minister for Works and Housing, and most recently, Minister for Roads and Highways.

He began his political journey as a student activist at KNUST, where he founded the Tertiary Students Confederacy Network (TESCON).

He studied Public Policy and Administration at Michigan State University as a Rotary Scholar and also earned a certificate in Public Sector Management from Tulane University in the United States.

Before politics, Asenso-Boakye worked with the Ministry of Employment and Social Welfare, the Ghana Free Zones Board, the Ghana Investment Promotion Center, and the Michigan House of Representatives, among other institutions.

In 2020, he won the Bantama parliamentary primaries and later secured 88.84 percent of votes in the general elections.

He currently serves on the Government Assurance Committee and the Lands and Forestry Committee of Parliament.
