However, Afua Asantewaa faces formidable competition, as Irish chef Alan Fisher recently exceeded the cooking record with an astonishing duration of 119 hours and 57 minutes.
Guided by GWR’s stringent regulations, Afua Asantewaa must maintain continuous singing, with only brief pauses of no more than 30 seconds permitted between songs. Each musical piece performed must last a minimum of two minutes. While accompaniment is optional, any accompanying musicians are allowed a maximum performance time of four hours before taking a mandatory four-hour break.

Additionally, Jamila Home has provided furniture sponsorships for setting the event's ambiance, while Electroland Ghana Limited stands as one of the event's sponsors.
Beyond her record-breaking aspirations, Afua Asantewaa Aduonum is a multifaceted individual—a broadcast journalist, television host, entrepreneur, and advocate for women's empowerment. As the CEO of ASKOF Productions, she initiated esteemed events like the Global Outstanding Women’s Awards and Africa Outstanding Women’s Awards, alongside founding initiatives like Pose4Africa and Teen Queen Ghana beauty pageants.
