Ebenezer Akwasi Antwi, popularly known as Ras Nene or Dr. Likee, was born on April 23, 1980, in Tafo, Kumasi, Ghana. Growing up in Tafo, he completed his primary and secondary education there.

His journey into the entertainment industry began in 2009, initially without any passion for acting. His career started unexpectedly when he accompanied friends to a movie set and was offered a role as a gangster.

In 2012, Ras Nene began showcasing his comedy skits, which quickly gained him initial recognition in the comedy scene. By 2015, he had appeared in various comedy series, significantly increasing his popularity across Ghana.

His career took a more serious turn in 2018 when he made his acting debut, transitioning from comedy skits to more substantial roles in films.

In 2023, Ras Nene released two movies, "Akashaolin Soccer" and "Akacalito," continuing to be a leading figure in Ghanaian comedy and acting. Despite his success, Ras Nene is known for his modesty.

In December 2022, he gifted his long-time friend Shiifo a Toyota Vitz, stating that he drives the same car. He has an estimated net worth of approximately $100,000, deriving income from acting, YouTube, and ambassadorial deals.

He owns homes in both Kumasi and Accra and garages in these cities. However, he experienced a personal tragedy in February 2023, losing his month-old baby girl.
