Rose Amoanimaa Yeboah, born on December 23, 2001, is a talented Ghanaian high jumper who has left an indelible mark on the world stage. Her journey in athletics is marked by numerous achievements, demonstrating her prowess and dedication to her sport.

Yeboah's foray into international competition began in 2019 at the XIV African U20 Championships in Abidjan, where she clinched the gold medal in high jump with a remarkable height of 1.83m. Her triumph continued at the 2019 African Games in Rabat, Morocco, where she secured another gold medal, further elevating her status in the high jump event.

Prior to these victories, Yeboah represented Ghana in various competitions, including the Ecowas U-20 Championships in Abidjan and the All-Africa University Games in Egypt, where she consistently claimed gold medals, showcasing her exceptional talent and determination.

Beyond high jump, Yeboah also excels in hockey and basketball. During her time at Kumasi Girls Senior High School, she contributed to her school's success in winning the gold at the Spriteball Championship, where she was honored as the Most Valuable Player (MVP).

In pursuit of her academic aspirations, Yeboah attended Kumasi Girls Senior High School before furthering her studies at the University of Cape Coast. Currently, she balances her academic pursuits with her athletic endeavors as a student-athlete at the University of Illinois, actively participating in their athletics program.

Yeboah has continuously raised the bar in her sport, achieving notable personal bests in high jump. Her record-breaking performances include clearing heights of 1.83m at the CAA U-18 and U-20 in Abidjan in April 2019, 1.84m in Rabat in August 2019, and 1.85m at the GUSA Games in Legon in January 2020.

On March 19, 2024, Yeboah once again displayed her dominance in the women’s high jump event, securing the gold medal with a jump of 1.87m. Despite narrowly missing her target of 1.89m, her exceptional performance resonated with fans, solidifying her status as a national heroine in athletics.

Her victory at the 2023 African Games marked her second consecutive gold medal, adding to Ghana's medal tally and uplifting the spirits of the host nation.
