Hailing from Mourso-Effiduase in the Ashanti Region of Ghana, Boamah pursued a robust academic journey. He obtained his Bachelor of Laws and Master's in International Affairs from the University of Ghana in 2004 and 2005, respectively. Building on his legal acumen, he earned his barrister-at-law degree from the Ghana School of Law in 2009.
Before his foray into the political arena, Boamah honed his legal skills as an Associate at the esteemed Sam Okudzeto and Associates law firm. His professional expertise set a solid foundation for his subsequent political endeavors.
In 2013, Boamah made his debut in the Seventh Parliament of the Fourth Republic of Ghana, representing the Okaikwei Central Constituency on the ticket of the New Patriotic Party (NPP). His resounding victory secured his position for a consecutive term after he was re-elected in the 2016 Ghanaian general election.
Throughout his tenure, Boamah has been an active participant in various parliamentary committees, including the Subsidiary Legislation Committee, the Judiciary Committee, and the Foreign Affairs Committee.
