The vice president of Ghana holds the second-highest office in the government of Ghana. Elected alongside the president by popular vote, the vice president serves a four-year term in office.

Positioned first in the presidential line of succession, the vice president would assume the presidency in case of the president's death, resignation, or removal from office. Currently, Mahamudu Bawumia serves as the vice president, having assumed office on January 7, 2017, under President Nana Akufo-Addo.
