Asuogyaman District - Atimpoku

Covering an estimated surface area of 827 square kilometres, the Asuogyaman District covers about 5.7% of the entire Eastern Region's land area.

Positioned approximately between latitudes 6º 34º N and 6º 10º N, as well as longitudes 0º 1º W and 0º 14º E, the district's administrative hub is Atimpoku.

The district shares its borders with Kwahu Afram Plains South District to the north, while the Upper Manya Krobo District and Lower Manya Krobo Municipal lie to the south and west. To the east, it is adjacent to Kpando Municipal, North Dayi District, Ho Municipal, and the North Tongu District of the Volta Region.

Based on the 2021 population and housing census, the district's population stands at 101,256 individuals, comprising 48,723 males and 52,533 females.
