KNUST Senior High School, formerly known as Technology Secondary School until 2007, stands as a prominent co-educational institution nestled within the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology in Kumasi, Ghana.

Established in February 1961 under the stewardship of Dr. R.P. Baffour, then-vice chancellor of the University of Science and Technology, the school initially operated from prefabricated asbestos buildings, affectionately known as the "Baby" of the university.

From its inception, the school was envisioned to provide secondary education primarily for children of university staff, later expanding its admission to the wider public.

Over the years, it has grown significantly in both size and stature. Its current enrollment, as of 2015, boasts approximately 900 boys and 1010 girls, overseen by a dedicated staff of 66 teachers and 21 non-teaching personnel.

The school's Akan nickname, "Mmadwemma," reflects a philosophy of thoughtful action, embodying its motto, "Forward be our watchword." Each year, around 600 students graduate from KNUST Senior High School, contributing to its reputation as a Class A institution recognized by the West African Examination Council and the Ghana Education Service.

At the helm of KNUST Senior High School is Mrs. Felicia Asamoah Danquah, steering the institution with a commitment to academic excellence and holistic development.

With its roots firmly grounded in the academic legacy of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, the school continues to uphold its mission of nurturing young minds and preparing them for a future of leadership and innovation.
