Within this population, males comprise 50.4 percent, and females comprise 49.6 percent. It's noteworthy that the majority of the population, specifically 60 percent, resides in rural areas. The demographic composition is characterized by a sex ratio of 101.7. The age distribution showcases the Municipality's youthful nature, with 41.8 percent falling within the youth category, while the elderly population constitutes a smaller proportion at 5.4 percent. The overall age dependency ratio stands at 84.1, with a higher ratio for males (86.4) compared to females (81.9).

Fertility, Mortality, and Migration

The Total Fertility Rate within the Municipality is recorded at 3.9. This figure is accompanied by a General Fertility Rate of 115.0 births per 1000 women aged 15 to 49 years, ranking as the second-highest in the region. The Crude Birth Rate (CBR) stands at 27.7 per 1000 population. In contrast, the crude death rate is 5.0 per 1000. Occupation distribution shows that of the employed population, 60.3 percent are in skilled agricultural, forestry, and fishery roles, 13.4 percent are in service and sales positions, and 1.7 percent hold managerial, professional, or technical roles.
