Geographically, the Oforikrom Municipality is positioned between Latitude 6.35oN and 6.40oS and Longitude 1.30oW and 1.35oE, with an elevation ranging from 250 to 300 meters above sea level. It shares its boundaries with Ejisu to the East, Bosomtwe District Assembly to the South, Asokwa Municipal Assembly to the South-West, Asokore Mampong to the North, and Kumasi Metropolitan Assembly to the West.
