Bodi District - Bodi

Having its administrative center in Bodi, the Bodi District was delineated from Juaboso. The year 2012 witnessed the inception of this district, in conjunction with other new Districts and Municipalities, through Legislative Instrument (LI) 2020. These entities were simultaneously inaugurated on June 28, 2012, across their respective locations.

Positioned in the northern realm of the Western Region, the Bodi District encompasses an approximate land area of 679 square kilometers.

Its territorial boundaries extend towards the Juaboso District to the north, Sefwi Wiawso Municipal to the west, Sefwi Akontombra District to the south, and Suaman District to the east.

According to the 2021 population and housing census, the District's population amounts to 65,748 individuals, comprising 33,653 males and 32,095 females.
