Geographically, the Juaboso District spans between Latitude 6° 6' N and 7° N, as well as Longitude 2° 40' W and 3° 15' W. Encompassing an area of 1,291 square kilometers, it covers a significant land expanse.

The administrative hub of the Juaboso District is the town of Juaboso itself, situated at a distance of 360 kilometers to the northwest of Sekondi Takoradi Metropolitan, which serves as the regional capital. Additionally, it is positioned 225 kilometres away from Kumasi, the capital of the Ashanti Region.

The Juaboso District shares its borders with Bia East and West Districts, as well as Asunafo North Municipal to the north. To the east, it is bordered by Asunafo South District and Bodi District. On the southern side, it shares its boundary with Suaman District, while to the west lies La Cote d'Ivoire.

As of the 2021 population and housing census, the District's population stands at 88,814 individuals, comprising 45,722 males and 43,092 females.
